Increase the Dosage Downloaded ~13k Times in 2006

According to my calculations, the album Increase the Dosage was downloaded approximately 13,000 times in 2006. Although it was initially released in 2004, it continues to be the most popular album offered on this site.

For that reason, I decided to do a brief feature on Increase the Dosage:

Increase the Dosage - electronic jazz featuring Matthew Garrison and Seamus Blake

This album is the first Revolution Void release that really delves into nu-jazz. I kept the breakbeat sound of previous recordings but added the element of jazz improvisation. My inspiration came in large part from Medeski Martin & Wood, who are to this day one of my favorite bands, and a group that I consider to be highly innovative in the realm of improvised music.

This was also the first album to heavily feature guest musicians. I collaborated with Matthew Garrison (bassist for Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan) and Seamus Blake (saxophonist who was recorded with Mingus Big Band, Kurt Rosenwinkel), as well as other notable musicians such as Michael Shrieve (Santana) and James Rotondi (Air).
